Remember when Kanye West announced a G.O.O.D. Music album back in October 2011? Well, the wait is almost over. Pusha T recently told Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 that the album, titled Cruel Summer, will be arriving on August 7th.

So far, all we’ve heard off the album is the single Mercy, which featured Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Kanye West. Admittedly, I thought it was a pretty good listen and it definitely did heighten the anticipation for the album.

The G.O.O.D. Music gang is definitely a talented one and with one half of the throne leading the charge, I can’t see the album being a let down. I’ve been a big Kanye West fan for a long time and I’m eagerly awaiting this one.
