Smashing New Billboard For The Dark Knight Rises Spotted

Earlier this week we posted a photo of a pretty unique billboard for The Amazing Spider-Man. Today, thanks to Comic Book Movie, a new billboard was spotted for The Dark Knight Rises which is even more creative than the one we saw for Spidey.

Earlier this week we posted a photo of a pretty unique billboard for The Amazing Spider-Man. Today, thanks to Comic Book Movie, a new billboard was spotted for The Dark Knight Rises which is even more creative than the one we saw for Spidey.

Looks like Warner Bros. continues to steal Sony’s thunder, like they’ve been doing for the past couple of months.

The billboard is smashed in the shape of the Batman symbol and might be a sign for the events that await us in The Dark Knight RisesIt’s a very cool piece of marketing and I commend whoever came up with the idea.

The billboard is the latest piece of promotion for Nolan’s final Batman film, which had had its marketing campaign kicked into overdrive these past couple of weeks as we’ve seen new images, TV spots, and even a trailer. I can’t imagine what else they’ll do as we’ve still got a month left.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters on July 20, 2012.
