While there are no photographs of the attachment at this time, one should envision the accessory as being a larger version of the original, which was already quite bulky to begin with. However, since this new model of the popular device won’t include a second thumb pad, the larger add-on will become a necessity for most users.

The Nintendo 3DS XL is set to be released on August 19th, and will carry a price tag of $199.99.
