Red Band Trailer Released For The Man With The Iron Fists

Yesterday, a Red Band trailer for RZA's upcoming kung fu gore fest The Man With The Iron Fists was released and I must say, it's absolutely awesome. The multi-talented Wu-Tang Clan member notches writing/directing/and acting credits for his first feature film, getting help from horror director Eli Roth on the script as well. On top of that, Quentin Tarantino will present the film, boding well for an insane viewing experience.

Now, this is the type of news that I love to cover.

Yesterday, a Red Band trailer for RZA‘s upcoming kung-fu gore fest The Man With The Iron Fists was released and I must say, it looks absolutely insane. The multi-talented Wu-Tang Clan member notches writing/directing/and acting credits for his first feature film, getting help from horror director Eli Roth on the script as well. On top of that, Quentin Tarantino will present the film, boding well for an over-the-top viewing experience.

Aside from RZA, the film also stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu, Pam Greir, and David Bautista.

The Man With The Iron Fists looks very, very cool, chock full of one liners and all sorts of craziness but also carried out with a professional tone. It looks both impressive and exciting and Roth and Tarantino’s marks are all over it, which is a good thing.

Personally, I just added The Man With The Iron Fists to my must watch list, but that could have been done based on Roth’s and Tarantino’s involvement alone.  It looks to me as if RZA assembled a killer team for his film and is paying homage to a high intensity genre, but don’t be surprised if boundaries are pushed as well.

My excitement meter is off the charts right now. Who else has their heart pounding after watching that trailer?
