‘Quantumania’ may be tied for the worst MCU movie, but what was the worst post-credits scene?

MCU fans have a lively debate about which end-credit scene is the worse than the one in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.'

While Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has earned the dubious distinction of being one the worst films in the MCU, fans are still debating whether its post-credit scene is as bad as others.

The discussion kicked off in the r/MarvelStudios subreddit when a fan asked which was the worst stinger. They were amused by Kang’s (Jonathan Majors) turn as Pharaoh Rama-Tut, Immortus, and the Scarlet Centurion. However, they thought that the post-credit scene in Eternals was significantly worse due to messy CGI and the appearance of Harry Styles as Starfox.

Another Redditor seconded OP’s vote for the end-credit scene in the Eternals.

The dreaded mid-credits of Spider-Man: Homecoming remains frustrating for fans because the teaser never amounted to a storyline.

Unsurprisingly, it dominated the thread because many MCU fans still feel cheated.

Disgruntled fans continued to lament the misuse of Michael Mando’s Scorpion. However, Spider-Man: Homecoming may lose its status of having the worst end credit scene if the rumors that Mando will appear in Spider-Man 4 are true.

Another contender is Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Fans are still bewildered by the brief appearance of a third eye on the good doctor’s forehead.

Others agreed that the end credits in the Doctor Strange sequel made for a strong candidate among the worst ever. In their view, the vignette made absolutely no sense.

MCU fans are unconcerned with how far-fetched end-credit scenes are. They are happiest when they make sense, have high-quality special effects, and integrate into the storylines of the films that follow.
