The Captain Marvel star took to Twitter to share a cute selfie and a playful dance video.

Larson’s amusing tweet helped relieve some of the tensions surrounding the film. The original plan was for the film to hit theaters in the summer, but a last-minute delay pushed its release to the middle of the MCU’s Phase 5 launch.

Fans couldn’t hide their excitement about the highly anticipated film and look forward to seeing Larson as Captain Marvel again.

There were also calls for Marvel Studios to release a trailer for The Marvels so that fans could get a taste of what is to come.

Another fan joked that they would use Larson’s quirky dance moves as a metric to countdown the days until the film’s release.

Others couldn’t help but feel charmed by Larson’s carefree sense of fun.

One eagle-eyed fan recognized Larson’s dress from SNL.

The Marvels tells the story of Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), and Monica Rambeau. The film stars Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris in their respective roles. The superhero trio is baffled to discover that whenever they use their powers, they trade places with each other. They decide to put their heads together to uncover the cause of the strange phenomenon.

Marvel Studios has enough confidence in The Marvels to release around the same time Black Panther: Wakanda Forever dropped last year. It will be exciting to see how the film is received in the weeks leading up to the Christmas season.

The date for The Marvels’ theatrical release is Nov. 23.
