Marjorie Taylor Greene decides to take issue with ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ in latest nonsensical tirade

She hates diversity, apparently.

Everyone’s favorite right wing Representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene, is at it again. And by “at it again,” we mean somehow blaming everything that’s wrong in the world on the current president. What’s her latest issue? The fact that the Biden administration is focused on “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” as opposed to serving the customer and providing “the best product and service possible.”

Because apparently, in Greene’s world, it’s either one or the other. You can be inclusive to all people and not discriminate, or you can give people a good product. But God forbid you try to do both. That would just make the whole system fall apart! This head-scratching logic comes to you from someone who makes decisions about the future of our country. Isn’t that great?

Greene posted a video of this supposed “issue” which provides basically no context and is just her asking a question. More of a statement, really, that she owns a business. She doesn’t even mention Biden, but of course, this is also a common subterfuge she uses. Obviously, it’s a political tactic that simply prostrates to her base and plays off the notion that “wokeness,” as it’s called, is somehow detrimental to the country.

Unfortunately, harping on devise issues rather than working to improve the state of the country or politics in general is nowhere on her agenda. She got to where she is by espousing right wing conspiracies, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change as long as she’s in office.

The fact that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave her the particular spotlight as as the House Pro Tempore yesterday does nothing to stave off this actual hemorrhage of partisan politics infecting congress in the Trump era. Sad!
