The message was shared on the official Star Wars Twitter page, and in it he thanked the fans on social media who supported his return and that has said that he has always been a fan of the franchise. He also admitted that he too gets excited whenever Star Wars announces a new show or project and finishes by thanking everyone once more.

Best was known for his role as Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and played Kelleran Beq in the Star Wars web series Star Wars: Jedi Challenge. In an interview with Wired back in 2017, the actor revealed that he’s received backlash for the prequel character and revealed in a now-deleted Twitter post that he contemplated suicide.

Since season two of The Mandalorian was released, fans predicted that he would be the one who will save Grogu from the Empire. It’s currently unknown if Beq survived Order 66, like the other notable Jedi in the galaxy like Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s also not clear if we’re ever going to see this Jedi again. But if you want to relive the moment that Beq saves Grogu, Chapter 20, titled “The Foundling”, is now available to stream on Disney Plus.
