Brie Larson obsessives answer what’s obviously the most important mystery surrounding Captain Marvel’s return

There's one hair-raising question everyone is asking.

We haven’t even seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 yet, but Marvel is already raising the hype for its final movie of 2023 thanks to the arrival of the first trailer for The Marvels. The long-awaited sequel to 2019’s hugely successful Captain Marvel (zip it, trolls, the film made over $1 billion at the box office), November’s superhero team-up extravaganza sees Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers join forces with Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) to kick cosmic ass once again.

But while you might be thinking that fans would be more interested in Carol’s potential power upgrades, it turns out they’re mostly just trying to deduce what ‘dos she’ll sport in the movie. Apparently, it’s not the saving the day that matters, but the lewks the superhero serves while they’re doing it that really counts.

Posted ahead of the trailer’s release, one Reddit thread saw fans debate which of Cap’n Marvel’s many haircuts they wanted to see Larson reprise in her latest MCU outing. The OP used two screenshots taken from screentests revealed in Captain Marvel’s MPower episode to illustrate their point.

Carol’s first Endgame look continues to be a fan favorite.

Some are happy with whatever, as long as short-haired Carol doesn’t make a return.

Others would actually be up for more from that comics-accurate cut.

Although, the obvious answer has been staring us in the face all along, thanks to the Ms. Marvel finale credits scene.

Continuity over creativity, people.

Tired: Go with the Ms. Marvel look. Inspired: Give her the Wong treatment.

The Marvels is coming to blow the minds of Brie Larson lovers everywhere this Nov. 10.
