The three most recent TV spots for The Bourne Legacy have been compiled into one video, showing Jeremy Renner jumping off buildings, riding a motorcycle down a staircase, and insisting that he’s “not just a science project.” Just another day in the life of a CIA operative, right?

As much as Bourne fans may be distraught over the fact that the franchise is moving on without Matt Damon, it certainly seems from the clips that Renner is a suitable successor.

The footage doesn’t shy away from the fact that The Bourne Legacy takes place in the same universe as the Damon films and the fact that the plot looks to center around “Agent vs. CIA” leads to an inkling of hope for fans that Renner and Damon will one day team up for a sequel.

Overall, though many were shocked when Universal announced that they were moving ahead with the series despite not having Damon on board, I think things are looking very positive and that the studio is going to have yet another hit on their hands.
