Recently, the right-wing commentator has received massive backlash for his anti-woke comments which blatantly advocate against transgender identity and rights, causing massive furors among people, especially on social media.

Of course, the action had some dire consequences for Walsh as his Twitter account was reportedly hacked on Tuesday and the hacked account trolled him as a ‘theocratic fascist’ as well as attacked his fellow conservative commentators like Ben Shapiro.

The user operating the hacked account — going by the name Doomed — went so far as to say, “My Twitter Isn’t Hacked, This Is Just The Real Me Coming Out.” Even though Walsh took action immediately, labeling the entire incident as harassment against him and his family, another piece of bad news awaited the anti-trans commentator.

This time, he was targeted by YouTube, which threatened to ban his show if he doesn’t respect transgender identity, or if he ever speaks against the chosen pronouns of transgender people. The words were uttered by Walsh himself, who expressed his disappointment and disdain against this ‘unexpected’ action by YouTube.

In his tweet, he mentions his readiness to sever all forms of cooperation with YouTube and collaborate with Daily Wire to produce his show which can then be viewed by the audience and his fans free of cost.

“As I announced during my speech tonight, YouTube has demonetized my show and threatened to ban us if we don’t respect the pronouns of trans people. I’d rather take my show off YouTube than cooperate with that nonsense. So I am. Starting Monday you can find my show free for everyone on Daily Wire. We’ll post it here to Twitter too. And on every other platform where you get your podcasts.”

He goes on tweeting,

“I’m not going to forfeit my integrity for the sake of YouTube ad revenue. But I’m also not going to go off to the hinterlands somewhere and languish in obscurity. We’re going to make the show bigger and more accessible on even more platforms. That’s how we’re responding.”

Of course, the tweets were met with customary agreements to Walsh’s take on the matter. Here’s what the the Twitteratis had to say on the matter,

The issue of ‘intolerance’ was put forward.

There was some nod to his past questionable works.

A pat on the back for his bravery to stand by his transphobic comments against all odds.

And of course, there were some anti-Walsh and pro-YouTube responses,

YouTube or not, Matt Walsh’s transphobic comments need to be identified and criticized on every platform.
