With 'Tears of the Kingdom' set to stun, it's high time fans know where to get themeless a copy.

At long last the time has come: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally here. In a few short hours, franchise fans around the globe will be able to get their grubby little hands on one of the year’s most anticipated new titles. More than that, this seemingly ambitious sequel has the power to define an entire decade of gaming — no pressure, right? Forget about Christmas Eve, this is the day we’ve been waiting for.

Amidst all the hype and fanfare, folks may be having a bit of trouble figuring out where the heck to buy Tears of the Kingdom in the first place, and that’s where we come in. As our name implies, we’ve got this covered.

First and foremost, Tears of the Kingdom can be found in the Nintendo Switch eShop for digital download at the following times: 9pm PDT on May 11 for the west coast of North America, 12:01am EDT on May 12 for the east coast of North America, 12:01am BST on May 12 for the United Kingdom, 12:01am CEST on May 12 for west mainland Europe, and 12:01am JST on May 12 for Japan.

If downloading titles digitally ain’t your thing, it’s no problem. The game will be available tomorrow just about anywhere you get your games. Places like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or GameStop will have their shelves stocked — so just walk on in, slap a few of hard-earned rupees down, and voilà, you’re good to go. Zelda magic.

Now some fans may have work to get to, so grabbing a copy early tomorrow might be a real issue. After all, working a steady paying job may be the thing that ends up funding your Nintendo Switch habit in the first place. We get it. That said, try to get your game as soon as you can and check back often if it happens to sell out. Worse case? You end up on a quest around town to uncover an unopened Zelda game with your (metaphorical) name on it.

Regardless of where you buy The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, rejoice in the fact that it has arrived in the first place. This is the type of game it seems just about everyone needs right now, and if anything, is going to be one hell of a ride. Happy release day folks! Be good, stay crazy, tell your friends.
