Miller Lite treating women like people in their latest commercial is too ‘woke’ according to numbskull critics

Conservatives: Uh oh, a beer company is respecting women. Better boycott!

Here we go again? Miller Lite, the official beer of “I will drink two gallons of this in seven hours,” has a new commercial that people are calling too “woke.” The controversy? Women are praised in the commercial for brewing beer instead of appearing in bikinis. Only a matter of time before Kid Rock gets involved.

The commercial features actor/writer Ilana Glazer (Broad City) walking through a brewery and talking about how women were the first brewers, but eventually the beer industry put them in bikinis to sell beer. Then all the pictures, advertisements and calendars of what she calls “bad sh*t” are shredded to make compost so they can make “good sh*t,” which is presumably more Miller Lite?

Unlike the Bud Light controversy, which involved a trans woman named Dylan Mulvaney being featured on the can and triggered conservatives to the point where they were refusing to buy the beer (and when they did buy it, they drove over it in a truck with truck nutz, or whatever).

This ad only features women. That’s it. Apparently to conservatives, putting women in normal clothes in a beer commercial is way over the line. “How dare you, beer company. do this to us again,” is what I’m assuming they’re thinking.

Wait. The trouble might not be that it features women, the trouble might we that it celebrates women. This is a problem for the right, because first we start celebrating women but then slippery slope: We have to give them rights. And no conservative wants that. So I kinda get it. Here’s the ad:

Wahhhh, there’s women talking about beer. What a bunch of children. Here’s what those prayer warrior conservative anti-woke “freedom” lovers are saying.

Yeah, God forbid you actually learn something new. That might change your worldview! Isn’t it kind of crazy that conservatives are so against learning things that don’t involve the bible or a gun or some combination of the two?

SHOCK: AB InBev not satisfied destroying its Bud Lite brand is now working hard to destroy its Miller Lite brand. Go woke, go broke.”

I should add one more thing. AB Inbev, a Dutch company that owns Bud Light, does not own Miller Lite. It’s a subsidiary of Molson Coors. Who needs facts when you can recite a fun little rhyme and call yourself a “lion” in a world of sheep.

One more thing: who cares! Why get so caught up in this? You’re on this earth for such a short time and you want to spend it in front of a keyboard trying spouting rhymes about “woke” and vitriol? Live your life, these corporations and politicians don’t care about you.

Like the great Texan Paul Schroder said, sometimes you just want a cold, watery beer.
