However, if you ended up falling hook, line, and sinker for the bait, then you’d better carve out a decent chunk of your day to witness what comes next.

Let’s be honest, it’s better than being Rickrolled, and that’s no doubt what a lot of people were expecting when they realized they’d been had. It’s a cruel move regardless, but in terms of drumming up hope and then taking it away in an instant, it’s basically the online equivalent of killing Baba Yaga’s dog, and we all know how that worked out for everyone in the long run.
