Angry Birds Trilogy has been announced for a holiday release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the 3DS. The game will include the original Angry Birds as well as the first two sequels, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio, with the character sprites redrawn for the home systems’ HD displays and more detailed backgrounds.

In keeping with the touch-based controls of the original, the Xbox 360 version will support the Kinect, while the PS3 version will support the Move. The 3DS version will also take advantage of the system’s StreetPass feature, though further details on that aspect are still yet to be announced.
