According to his profile that was shared on Entertainment Weekly, he’s a NASA Engineering Student in Atlanta, Georgia. His statement about how his life experience prepared him for the reality game show was about a project he had to do during his training. Meanwhile, most contestants shared tragedies and hardships that they were able to overcome.

During the broadcast of Survivor 44, Garret was 20 years old, making him the youngest contestant of the season. Of course, just because he’s young, doesn’t mean he should be looked down upon. After all, he won eight challenges, as well as three immunity challenges after the tribes merged halfway through the season.

Garrett was the youngest to compete on Survivor 44, but he didn’t let his age stop him from making it to the finals. While it’s unfortunate that he only lasted for 25 days on the island, the fact he was able to last that long at all is an achievement in itself.
