Stephen King continues half-heartedly but entirely accurately endorsing the latest adaptation of his work

What he lacks in enthusiasm, he makes up for in truth.

While the early reviews have been more stellar as opposed to spectacular, King has clearly thrown his weight behind The Boogeyman, albeit in hilariously half-hearted fashion. It’s always worth making a point of noting the live-action makeovers of his bibliography that King actually supports, because they tend to be the ones worth checking out. After all, did you see or hear him say or do anything about the recent Children of the Corn remake that sat on the shelf for years and then found itself torn apart by critics to rank as one of the worst-reviewed titles ever based on his work?

Exactly, which does at the very least ensure The Boogeyman will be one worth checking out for King aficionados, if nothing else.
