A Heather Graham erotic horror with deliciously complex tendencies is coming to lure audiences in later this year

What a time to be a horror fan.

The ever-present trend of the erotic horror/thriller sub-genre might feel overcharged and overused after all these years, but that certainly hasn’t stopped streaming services and production houses from wrapping around projects that practically bleed dollar signs. This is precisely the case for Suitable Flesh — a deliciously complex erotic horror starring Austin Powers icon Heather Graham and notably based on author H.P. Lovecraft’s The Thing On The Doorstep.

As reported by Deadline, the insatiable horror flick had its rights acquired by RLJE Films and Shudder, respectively. As it stands, the upcoming movie, which is soon set to make its debut at the Tribeca Festival, will release in theaters later this year — along with a VOD release and a future release date on Shudder. And with Graham returning to the screen in a way that is massively complex and eerie, it’s obvious horror fanatics are in for a special treat.

Directed by Joe Lynch, Suitable Flesh stars Graham as a once-successful psychiatrist who watches as her personal and professional career are seemingly destroyed by an ancient curse. And if that doesn’t spell out the makings of a seriously devious thriller extravaganza, then we don’t know what does.

As of right now, there’s no official confirmation as to when the horror spectacle will release in theaters, but with 2023 jam-packed with a variety of intriguing spooky flicks, then it’s certainly worth noting that genre die-hards will happily be adding Suitable Flesh to their movie calendars.
