Elizabeth Olsen welcomed into the Chris Hemsworth school of hindsight after glossing over ‘Multiverse of Madness’

The MCU's biggest names aren't holding back on their feelings.

Kevin Feige might have snipers on the roof ready to paint the red dot on anyone about to give up major Marvel Cinematic Universe spoilers, but there’s not much he can do about some of the franchise’s biggest stars voicing their disapproval on the superhero saga’s recent slate of projects.

Chris Hemsworth surprised a lot of people recently when he criticized both Thor: Love and Thunder and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania for their respective shortcomings, even if his sentiments are entirely echoed by the fandom. While Elizabeth Olsen wasn’t quite as transparent, her reflections on WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have been interpreted as backhanded anyway.

The longtime Wanda Maximoff spoke glowingly about her time shooting WandaVision, and even though nobody’s buying it for a second that her time as the Scarlet Witch is anywhere close to being over for good, it didn’t take long for many to notice that she didn’t even mention Multiverse of Madness at all.

Of course, there’s an air of the conspiratorial to folks potentially reading too much into Olsen’s words, but it also wouldn’t be unfair to suggest that the screenplay and characterization was the weakest part of the box office behemoth, with Sam Raimi’s direction standing head and shoulders above anything else in the movie.

Whether it’s Coven of Chaos, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, Secret Wars, or anything in between; Olsen will inevitably be back to bring Wanda’s arc to a satisfying conclusion, and let’s hope she enjoys the experience.
