A recent splurge of MCU rumors appear to have inspired a renewed sense of excitement and hype for The Marvels. With Secret Invasion ongoing and Loki season two still to come, the incoming Captain Marvel sequel hasn’t necessarily been at the forefront of Marvel fans’ thoughts of late, but that’s changed now thanks to some intriguing new intel that is seeing it shoot to the top of he most eagerly awaited superhero movies of 2023 Part Two.

I won’t repeat the details here so spoilerphobes can keep reading without fear, but suffice it to say that an alleged breakdown of The Marvels post-credits scene has leaked which apparently reveals that instant MCU favorite who has sadly been underused since their introduction will make an appearance in the sequence, which will in turn set up bigger things for them in future projects.

No doubt that has something to do with the fact that a viral poll has caused The Marvels to trend on Twitter as everyone picks it as a bigger upcoming treat then either DC’s Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Sony’s Kraven the Hunter.

For some, it’s been at the top of the pile all along.

Others seem almost surprised by their own pick.

OK, even if we are really excited for The Marvels, it’s probably getting off easy with this competition.

Although, hands up, Blue Beetle is also getting some love too.

Reese Witherspoon knows what she’s talking about.

The overinflated attention received by the actress’ haters might suggest Brie Larson is one hugely controversial figure, but let’s not forget that she’s an Oscar-winning star who managed to steer Captain Marvel past the coveted $1 billion mark back in 2019. All in all, then, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that The Marvels is the most-anticipated comic book film still to come in 2023.

Don’t miss it come its release this Nov. 10.
