Mindy Kaling shows off her summer bod with a yellow bikini and the perfect ‘Legally Blonde’ throwback

She looks great in daffodil.

Sometimes you just gotta lay out in the sun, in a pool, on an inflatable raft and maybe get a drone or something to take a picture of you. That’s exactly what Mindy Kaling recently on her Instagram page, and she looks great. The Office and mother of two channeled her inner Elle Woods and well, it really works for her.

“Basically doing fanfic of Reese Witherspoon in her green Elle Woods bikini,” she wrote in the caption. The color wasn’t green though, it was daffodil. The swimsuit? From Andie Swim, a swimwear company for women. Is it an ad? Who knows? Who cares. There are worse things in the world let’s be honest here.

Kaling also shared a screenshot of Witherspoon as Woods for comparison, and it’s fine but here’s a refresher as well.

This post follows a previous one where The Mindy Project star, 44, revealed that her doctor told her “this year was the healthiest I’ve been in years.” The actress reportedly lost over 40 pounds this year. How’d she do it? She told Page Six that she just tells herself to “do basically 20 miles a week of either hiking or running. And so that’s been incredibly helpful to me.”

Look, the only miles I’m doing are in the sky on a plane. It’s really easy to tear down celebrities, and I get it they have lots of money and who doesn’t hate that, but good for her. I can’t hate on that kind of effort when I’m sore for days after a beer league softball game.
