The Avengers assemble in the trailer for a Marvel project that isn’t coming to theaters, or even Disney Plus

Catch it while you can.

Any franchise that runs for decades is obligated to expand on a relentless basis, but who could have guessed that Hawkeye would have been the catalyst for one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s most random offshoots?

The Disney Plus miniseries that put a long-serving member of the Avengers front-and-center for the very first time captured hearts, minds, and imaginations in its very first episode when it gifted the world with Rogers: The Musical, which quickly went on to become a sensation in its own right.

So much so, in fact, that Disney and Marvel announced plans to bring the stage show to life at theme parks around the world, and the first trailer for the adaptation of the fictional in-universe song-and-dance extravaganza introduced in a TV series spun off from the movies has arrived.

It’ll be curious to see if Rogers: The Musical becomes a fixture of Disney resorts around the world or goes down in a ball of flames, because we shouldn’t have to remind anyone that big-name brands don’t guarantee success looking at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser debacle.

Marvel is a completely different animal, though, and everybody loves a musical extravaganza – especially if you happen to be on vacation at the time – so there’s a strong chance this one will not just survive, but thrive and become a regular presence at Disney resorts everywhere.

Even if it doesn’t, then we can always wistfully look back at Hawkeye and remember where it all began before it all went wrong.
