So – here we are. Chances are you’re reading this as you sit in a darkened theater following the heart-warming and full-circle conclusion to Indy’s final adventure, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

There’s probably a lot going through your mind at the moment – whether it be the implications of Indy’s time travel antics, where this flick sits on the spectrum between the lows of Crystal Skull and highs of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and maybe most pressingly – whether or not you can head to the bathroom to relieve yourself of that gallon of soda you sucked down during the movie. Not judging; we’ve all been there!

So – without wasting more of your precious time, here’s everything you need to know about whether or not you need to stick around a little while longer to catch any more hints, snippets, or teases about Indy’s life after his final globe-trotting adventure.

Is there a post-credits scene in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny?

The short answer is no – there isn’t. You’re free to go. Following Indy’s insistence on staying in the past to hang out with Archimedes and his scholarly pals, only to have some sense literally (and involuntarily) knocked into him by Helena, he awakens back home. He rekindles his long-lost spark with Marion, the pair make an adorable reference to their first adventure together, and they live happily ever after.

As the credits roll on, no hints are included as to what his future is going to look like, nor any indication of spin-off content or some weird Marvel-style villain tease of Dr. Voller rising from a crumpled heap of an airplane back in Archimedes’ time. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny kept things old-school – when the credits started rolling, the film was done – and honestly, we’re thankful for that.
