Where to stream the ‘Mission: Impossible’ movies

There are many options you do not need to run like Cruise to.

The latest installment in the Mission: Impossible series has arrived, marking the return of Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt doing increasingly deadly things for our entertainment and at 61 years old, no less. Considering how long the series has been running and a new entry adding to the overarching story, many are unsurprisingly eager to revisit M:I from the very beginning.

Where to watch the Mission: Impossible movies

All of the prior films in the series can currently be found on Paramount Plus. This also covers when Paramount Plus is included in an add-on to services like Amazon Prime or Roku and heading here will get you Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible 2, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation and the Henry Cavill-heavy Mission: Impossible – Fallout. All of the seasons of the 1966-73 television show which inspired Cruise to launch the films are present and accounted for as well.

If streaming all of the content in the franchise in one place is not your thing, all of the films and the television series are also available to rent from YouTube and a number of other streaming services like Hulu with cheaper subscriptions or free trials for a month. We could not find a location for the 1988 revival which ran for two seasons, though it does appear there are fan uploads on YouTube, for now.

Where the series will go from here remains to be seen. For now, it is broadly accessible, has entered into the novel, comic book, and video game realms, and has yet to make a return to television in any form. Right now, it seems like film will be the only path in its foreseeable future and Tom Cruise wants to keep going until he is as old as Harrison Ford was for the final Indiana Jones.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two bows in 2024.
