A stomach-churning supernatural horror quickly makes gaming history after becoming the second to be featured in Fortnite

We love an epic collab.

In the past, the enticing media collaboration between the colossal horror genre and the widespread gaming world has long been an epic collab that is utilized time and time again. And while horror games such as Friday the 13th: The Game and Dead by Daylight are immensely popular, it looks as though A24’s supernatural extravaganza Talk to Me is looking to join the party and quickly etch itself into horror movie history as the second flick featured in Fortnite.

Altitude Media Group has officially announced the collaboration with a special Fortnite Creative game that features the hotly-anticipated horror flick. With the A24 feature already being regarded as one of the most terrifying horror films of the year, it hardly comes as a major surprise that Fortnite would want to capitalize on this success by combining the two worlds for a massive project.

As it stands, this aforementioned alliance is being regarded as the first time a horror movie was featured on Fortnite — although the game memorably featured Pennywise’s infamous red balloon in the aftermath of horror blockbuster It Chapter Two. That being said, seeing as Fortnite never actually launched a concrete collaboration with It, one could argue that this is the first time that the game has officially partnered with a horror film.

Regardless of which came first, there’s certainly no denying that the new map is set to entice horror fanatics and gamers alike to take part in an out-of-this-world collaboration that allows the two worlds to blend together for our entertainment.
