Mike Epps Wakes Up To Yet Another Hangover

In 2009's smash hit The Hangover, almost all of the drug-fuelled debauchery was the fault of Mike Epps' character Black Doug, who clumsily sold Alan date rape pills instead of ecstasy. In 2009’s smash hit The Hangover, almost all of the drug-fuelled debauchery was the fault of Mike Epps‘ character Black Doug, who clumsily sold Alan date rape pills instead of ecstasy. Now, Coming Soon is reporting that the bumbling dealer will once again meet up with the famed “Wolfpack” in The Hangover: Part III, which will conclude the incredibly popular trilogy.

As you’ll recall, Epps’ character earns the name “Black Doug” when he’s confused for the missing Doug (Justin Bartha), and is taken captive by the eccentric Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong).  Though his screen time was limited, I really enjoyed all of his scenes and am very happy to hear that he’ll be making an appearance in the film.

Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Ken Jeong will all return to the big screen when The Hangover: Part III debuts on May 24, 2013.

Is The Hangover: Part III a necessary finale for Phillips’ characters? Or, is Phillips just milking his cash cow for all it’s worth. What do you think?
