If ‘Blue Beetle’ is any indication of what’s coming for DC, Marvel may be in more trouble than we thought

The MCU is floundering with lackluster releases like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Though Marvel's financials remain strong, DC's Blue Beetle has been very well-received by critics.

If the impressive storytelling and cultural depth of Blue Beetle is a sign of things to come for James Gunn's DCU, Marvel's dominance could be short-lived.

However, the healthy competition from DC could force Marvel to improve, creating two great cinematic universes for fans to choose from.
