Skylanders Giants Receives Release Dates And New Character

Few expected Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure would become such a phenomenon when it debuted last fall, but the game and its unique figures quickly became one of the season's most sought after items. That's why it's not surprising that this year's festive months will feature a sequel to the platform-action experience, entitled Skylanders Giants.

Few expected Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure would become such a phenomenon when it debuted last fall, but the game and its unique figures quickly became one of the season’s most sought after items. That’s why it’s not surprising that this year’s festive months will feature a sequel to the platform-action experience, entitled Skylanders Giants.

Earlier today, Activision officially announced that Skylanders Giants and its larger scale figures will invade the United Kingdom on October 19 and North America on October 21.

The much-anticipated sequel’s retail debut will be flanked by brand new figures such as Swarm, a menacing-looking killer bee who happens to be the focus of its latest promotional video.
