It’s official: SEGA is the latest publisher to announce a first run limited edition for one of its games, in order to entice fans to place a deposit with their favourite retailer. That news was confirmed not too long ago when the company issued a statement saying that a Bonus Edition of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be made available to a select amount of early adopters.

Those who end up purchasing the snazzy edition of the kart racer will receive:

Metal Sonic character and vehicle
Outrun course
In-game Emoticon Sticker Pack

On top of that interesting reveal, SEGA also provided us with a release date for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita versions of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. That day happens to be November 30, which should position the title well for the holiday season shopping rush.

Note: Release date information for the 3DS, PC and Wii U versions of the game will be announced at a later date.
