Hey Look! New DOOM 3 BFG Edition Screens

I promise there are no cherubs this time. Quake Con is over, which is unfortunate, but at least it was a neat few days! And now we’ve got new screens of DOOM 3 BFG Edition to ease the pain of knowing there’s a whole year between the world’s most popular LAN party returning.

Honestly, I kind of think these screens show off what kind of stuff we would have expected if DOOM 1 and 2 had been rendered using the DOOM 3 engine. All of these appear to be in the Hell levels, and one screen even appears to be a return of the double-barreled shotgun. Now if only we could get a weird little face on the bottom of the screen that changes with how much health you have. That would probably be TOO much of a throwback though.
