Assassin’s Creed III Gets A Nautical Gamescom Trailer

Perhaps the most surprising of all of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed III revelations regarded the game's naval warfare segments. Their inclusion means that, for the first time in the series' history, we'll be able to set sail with our stealthy protagonist. Not only that, but cannon ball battles will ensue out in the open water, adding an unexpected new layer to the experience.

Perhaps the most surprising of all of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III revelations regarded the game’s naval warfare segments. Their inclusion means that, for the first time in the series’ history, we’ll be able to set sail with our stealthy protagonist. Not only that, but cannon ball battles will ensue out in the open water, adding an unexpected new layer to the experience.

Today, Ubisoft debuted its Assassin’s Creed III Gamescom trailer, which is all about the above-mentioned seafaring. During its brief runtime, epic naval battles are shown, along with some nautical traversal segments.

Assassin’s Creed III will land on North American shores on October 30. The release date listed in the above trailer happens to be for Australia.
