Where to watch all 2024 Oscars best international feature nominees

Don't sleep on the international features this year.

The award season is upon us again, and it is time to rush to see movies you probably wouldn’t have otherwise. The 2024 Academy Awards feels particularly sudden this year.

The entertainment industry became embroiled in conflict in 2023. For the first time in decades, both SAG-AFTRA and the WGA went on a dual strike due to the fast changes in Hollywood. The use of AI and lack of residuals have changed how artists in the industry can make a living, causing a valid list of demands. Though ultimately resolved, the strike put a significant stop to work for a time. It almost seemed as though there would be no award seasons at all.

Lo and behold, the Academy could not be stopped. The 2024 Oscars will go ahead as planned, airing on Sunday, March 10, and unsurprisingly to be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Brace yourself for ill-timed Will Smith jokes aplenty. Despite this, there is an interesting crop of films that are the front-runners this year. While Best Picture and Best Director awards are always highly anticipated, don’t sleep on the impressive collection of international features. From rom-coms to harrowing depictions of real events, there are many ways to see these films before the official nominees are announced.

Where you can watch the 2024 international features nominees

The prevalent issue that always seems to arise with Oscar season is where fans can watch the movies. While award season is fast approaching, some films won’t be released internationally until close to the awards ceremony. And even then, not all these films are available nationally.
