It’s time for another episode of WGTC Radio, the official podcast of We Got This Covered! Remember, you can subscribe for free in iTunes by following this link!

WGTC Radio is based out of Denver, Colorado, where we have a really special, dedicated film community. One of the coolest movie groups in town is the Denver Film Society, and they’ve proven it by scheduling a very exciting seven week festival: Castles in the Sky: Miyazaki, Takahata, and the Masters of Studio Ghibli. It’s a fifteen-film collection of Ghibli’s works, all presented in their original Japanese on brand new 35mm prints, and considering that these are literally my favorite films of all time, I could not possibly be more excited!

The festival begins this Friday with My Neighbor Totoro, so to celebrate, Sean and I have recorded a little Ghibli retrospective of our own. Going by the Festival’s schedule, we walk through every movie that will be playing in the coming weeks, giving you our brief thoughts on the movie and whether or not you should make an effort to check it out (spoiler alert: you should!). Whether you’re a long time Miyazaki fan or a newcomer, you’ll want to listen to this comprehensive guide to learn more about some of history’s greatest films!

Enjoy the show, and we’ll see you next week!
