Has the plot been revealed for Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film? It sure looks like it.
According to a log line on The Wrap’s It’s On The Grid database, we now have a brief idea of what the film will be about and what direction it will take the story in.

The film will follow a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone wants.
Sounds about right and after doing some digging, I think it’s safe to say that Vance Astrovik, aka Major Victory, will be our protagonist. Although, I’ve also seen some speculation stating that it may be Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord.
As for the item that everyone is after, I’m not too sure. Maybe the Cosmic Cube?
There’s still a lot that’s up in the air, but feel free to start speculating in the comments section below. What’s in the possession of these ex-cons that everyone wants? How will Guardians of the Galaxy tie into Marvel’s Phase 2 and more importantly, how will it factor into The Avengers 2?
All those questions will be revealed within the next couple of years but for now, give it your best guess!
