The World’s End, the newest film from director Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) starring his creative partners Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, is getting a little more populated. That’s the news coming from Variety, who are reporting that fellow Brit actor Paddy Considine has signed on to the film.

The movie follows a quartet of friends who reconnect for an “epic pub crawl” that they had previously failed to accomplish, and who come to realize that the fate of all mankind could hang in the balance.

Frost and Pegg are already slated to play part of the group, with Rosamund Pike on board to play a character romantically entwined with Pegg. Considine, who starred in the fantastic film Dead Man’s Shoes and had a memorable turn as a New Age guru in Submarine, will be playing “a former ladies man and musician who has grown up to be a divorced architect.”

I’m a big fan of both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, the previous films that Frost, Pegg, and Wright have collaborated on. I’m an even bigger fan of Considine, who simply does not star in enough films for my tastes. Thus, you can imagine my interest growing at the news that he will be a part of this new project.

What about you, does this addition make you more excited to see The World’s End?
