If you’ve been drooling over the trailer for Professor Layton VS. Ace Attorney every day like I have, you’re probably foaming at the mouth for a release date. Well, I can’t give that to you today, unless you’re Japanese. Then I’m the bearer of good news for you.

Siliconera reports that the latest issue of Famitsu reveals that the crossover puzzler and courtroom drama game will be hitting Japanese game shelves on November 29.

There’s not even a mention of a western release date, however given that the game will probably be published by Nintendo and Level-5, and the last Professor Layton game took roughly a year to be translated, I’d say we’ll see the game stateside in time for Fall 2013.

Although, this is all just an educated guess at this point. As always though, we’ll keep you posted when more news arises.
