So far, we haven’t seen much of the new Jack Ryan film that recently began shooting. In fact, all we’ve seen are images of Chris Pine on a motorcycle, followed by Pine and Kevin Costner walking away from a helicopter.
Today, thanks to The Playlist, we have a few more shots of cast members on the set of the film in Moscow. Again, there’s not much going on in them but at least we’ve now finally have some shots of Sir Kenneth Branagh.
However, as to whether he’s dressed sharply for his directing duties or as the villain is unclear. At this rate, it shouldn’t be too much longer before we finally get a shot or two of Keira Knightly on the set as well.
This could turn out to be a rather interesting entry in the Jack Ryan series. Pine has already shown he has what it takes to be an action star, while Branagh will no doubt be bringing us a great villain. Plus, the latter’s already shown that he knows how to direct action films quite well with last year’s blockbuster Thor.
We’ll see how it all turns out when Jack Ryan hits theaters on December 25, 2013.
