The five day wait for the highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer has just been made easier. Kanye West has released the intro song off the album, titled To The World, and it continues to set the bar for how much quality we can expect come September 18th.

Working with R&B master R. Kelly, ‘Ye makes sure to save his appearance for the very end, appearing for only a small verse consisting of name-drops and clever double entendres.

R. Kelly holds down the front end, while the bouncy strings and pounding drums carry him smoothly through each hook and verse. Of course, we get a mouthful from Yeezy towards the end, including, “R. Kelly and the God of rap/Sh****ng on you, holy crap.”

I guess it’s safe to say that West won’t be shying away from any ego trips this time around.

Check out the full song after the jump, pick up Cruel Summer on September 18th, and be sure to check back soon for our review of the album!
