Carla Gugino To Guest Star On New Girl

We've only got a few more weeks before we get to see Max Greenfield getting caught up in crazy shenanigans as Schmidt on New Girl again and it seems that one of these shenanigans involves his new boss, Emma. Entertainment Weekly has learned that Carla Gugino has signed on to play Max's boss for three episodes starting in November.

We’ve only got a few more weeks before we get to see Max Greenfield getting caught up in crazy shenanigans as Schmidt on New Girl again and it seems that one of these shenanigans involves his new boss, Emma.

Entertainment Weekly has learned that Carla Gugino has signed on to play Max’s boss for three episodes starting in November. New Girl‘s breakout star will be binded to Emma by a contract and the two will engage in lots of sex, Fifty Shades of Grey-style. Will Cece and Schmidt ever get back together? By the looks of it, not anytime soon at least.

Gugino, who was recently on Political Animals, looks like a great and fun addition to the series. Whatever happens between the two characters one thing is for certain, hilarity will ensue. Then again, isn’t that what always happens whenever Schmidt’s around?

Also starring Jake Johnson, Lamorne Morris, and of course, the lovely Zoeey Deschanel, the show is set to return on September 25, 2012.
