Released today are a set of new images for Warner Brothers’ upcoming film Gangster Squad, directed by Ruben Fleischer. The behind the scenes shots provide a good look at the production and should be enough to tide us over as we wait for that next trailer.
While there’s nothing too revealing on display here, we get a look at some of the sets, costumes and various production elements that have gone into recreating the time period in which the film is set. That time period, is of course, 1940’s and 50’s Los Angeles.
In addition to getting a great look at how the setting is being recreated, we also have some nice looks at the main cast. Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Nick Nolte and Josh Brolin (among others) are all on display here, looking dapper in their costumes.
Aiming for a January 11th, 2013 release, Gangster Squad is only a few months away now and although it seems to be skipping Awards season, this is still one film that you’re going to want to keep your eye on.
