Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was officially announced at Nintendo’s Wii U press conference last week, but we are now getting the first screenshots for upcoming title straight from Tokyo Game Show 2012.

Unfortunately, these screens are only for the 3DS version of Ultimate and Capcom has yet to release any media for the Wii U title. However, since both versions of the games run off the same save file and allow for local co-op between the two systems, these should be a lower resolution representation of what Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will look like on the Wii U.

Check out Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate‘s first screenshots and artwork below, and look for the game to hit the 3DS and Wii U in both North America and Europe in March 2013.
