Hugh Jackman’s fifth on-screen appearance as Wolverine (his cameo in X-Men: First Class notwithstanding) in The Wolverine has been filming for a little while now, and though we already got our first official look at the Adonis-like body he’s sporting for the film, we’ve yet to see much of the supporting characters. Thanks to fan site HughJackMania, however, that just changed.
Although we don’t even know where they were taken, the site has uncovered the very first on-set photos of Svetlana Khodchenkova, the actress cast to play Madame Hydra a.k.a. Viper after negotiations with Jessica Biel fell through. She was confirmed for the part back in August though we hadn’t heard anything else until now.
Not much to see here except that Khodchenkova rocks a slender frame and a domineering look, and her character apparently has some dealings with the Japanese as well as a penchant for gloves and ’60s-style accessories.
