Tom Cruise may have Oblivion and All You Need Is Kill in the pipeline but the actor is still looking to continue his work in the sci-fi genre.

Variety reports that Cruise is eyeing Our Name Is Adam, a script by T.S. Nowlin. Does the name sound familiar? It should. The writer recently picked up some buzz due to his script for Agent 13, which has Rupert Wyatt and Charlize Theron attached.

No other details have been revealed just yet but seeing as Cruise is interested, the script is probably pretty interesting and worthwhile.

Attaching himself to Our Name Is Adam could make for a smart career choice for the actor. He can only continue doing these physically demanding roles for so long and Our Name Is Adam could be a nice change of pace for him.

Granted, we still don’t know anything about it but as of now, my interest is piqued. Despite the fact that Jack Reacher looks like a bit of a dud, I think Cruise is making an admirable comeback and I’m very excited about his future projects, including this one.

What do you think? Is Tom Cruise making a strong comeback? Do you want to see him do another sci-fi film?
