In her announcement, Clarkson explained that she needs to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Sessions dates in Las Vegas. The affected shows were scheduled for August 8, 9, 15, 16, and 17. Fans who had purchased tickets for these performances will need to wait for rescheduled dates or seek refunds through the appropriate channels.

According to MLive, the singer revealed personal circumstances behind her decision. Clarkson stated that while she normally keeps her personal life private, her children’s father – her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock – has been ill over the past year, and she needs to be fully present for her children at this moment. She expressed sincere apologies to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and thanked them for their grace, kindness, and understanding during this difficult time.

Singer’s Vegas residency faced earlier setbacks with voice issues in July

This is not the first disruption to Clarkson’s Las Vegas residency schedule. Early last month, the performer had to cancel her opening shows due to vocal health concerns. At that time, she explained that the preparation and rehearsals for the Studio Sessions had taken a toll on her voice.
