Mommy Trump didn’t give Elon the validation he craved, so he’s out here playing the victim and making up nonsense

His narcissism and bigotry continues thrive sans Donald Trump's presence.

Elon Musk posted controversial statements about transgender people on his platform X on September 2, 2025, illogically playing his “white men are always targeted” card.

The billionaire claimed that white men are transitioning because of propaganda that portrays them as bad people. He suggested that vulnerable teenagers might transition to become part of what he called a celebrated group.

The Tesla CEO wrote that his observation is that a major driver of white males becoming trans is the relentless propaganda portraying white men as the worst human beings. He added that if these lies land during vulnerable teen years and they are given an option to be celebrated, some will choose to transition. His comments quickly sparked outrage from LGBTQ organizations and medical experts who say there is no evidence to support these claims.

These latest remarks continue a pattern of controversial statements from Musk about transgender issues. His comments carry particular weight given his personal connection to the topic. His eldest daughter Vivian Wilson is transgender and legally changed her name in 2022. She stated in court documents that she wanted no relationship with her biological father. Wilson, who is now 21, recently spoke out about living independently with roommates despite her father being worth $413 billion. Musk has previously been criticized for his anti-trans rhetoric, which many see as harmful to the transgender community.

Research shows Musk’s claims lack scientific support

Medical research directly contradicts the theories Musk shared on social media. A 2025 study of 709 transgender individuals found that only 1.87 percent later detransitioned. The research showed that when people do detransition, most cite external factors rather than being misled. The study found that 82.5 percent of those who detransitioned said they did so because of family pressure, discrimination, or trouble finding work.

These findings match earlier research from multiple medical centers around the world. Studies from Amsterdam and Spain reported similarly low rates of regret after gender transition. The largest survey of transgender adults in America found that while 8 percent had detransitioned at some point, most did so only temporarily. The main reasons were pressure from parents and facing too much harassment or discrimination.

Major medical associations continue to support gender-affirming care based on extensive research. There is no credible evidence suggesting that any demographic group is more likely to transition due to propaganda or social pressure. Medical experts emphasize that gender dysphoria is a recognized medical condition with established treatment protocols. The controversy comes as Musk faces increasing scrutiny over his public statements and their impact on vulnerable communities.
