Final Trailer For Sam Mendes’ Skyfall Hits The Web

While the States are still a few weeks away from the release of the latest James Bond outing, Skyfall, our friends across the pond only have one more week to wait. In anticipation of the film's release, a final trailer has appeared online, and while it doesn't exactly feature a wealth of new footage, it still does what it sets out to do, i.e. get you excited for the return of the beloved super spy.

The marketing has been relentless, giving us tons of material such as images, trailers, TV spots, and even some B-roll footage, all of which has make it look like the film will be an action-filled good time and quite possibly, the best Bond outing yet.

You may have heard about Sam Mendes being inspired by The Dark Knight while making his film, which is certainly a good standard to look up to, particularly for a franchise that has come back to reality with its more recent entries. Casino Royale gave us a more realistic, fragile Bond that we hadn’t really seen before. While Quantum of Solace represented a bit of a stumble for the series, it still carried this idea through. Hopefully we’ll get the same realistic treatment of the character in Mendes’ film.

Skyfall hits theaters in the UK on October 26th and in the US on November 9th (November 8th in IMAX).
