It’s up for debate whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden had the last laugh during their intense rivalry. Sure, Biden trounced Trump in the 2020 election, but in retrospect, that victory feels hollow after Trump’s return to power in 2024.
But, even after taking his revenge (albeit by proxy via Kamala Harris), Trump isn’t able to let bygones be bygones. He’s continually promoted the theory that a befuddled Biden didn’t even know what he was signing while in office, while doing his best to dismantle everything his predecessor did in office.
That includes going after Biden’s presidential pardons, which means that notoriously wayward son Hunter Biden has some skin in the game. He’s now apparently clean, but the party is over. Back in March, ABC reported that he’s “mired in debt, without a permanent home, and the target of ongoing attacks from the current president.” His situation doesn’t seem much better now, and Trump is still determined to reverse that pardon.
But if Hunter is going down, he’s going down swinging. In an appearance on the Republicans Against Trump podcast, Hunter didn’t hold back:

Biden continued:
“He has to literally change history. Everything with him is projection. Biden crime family? What a g*ddamn joke. What a g*ddamn joke…”

Hunter, buddy. I mean, you’re basically right, but you didn’t exactly help the Biden family on that front. I mean, there’s the firearm conviction, the indictment for filing false tax returns, and the allegations of trading on the family name for contracts in China, Ukraine, and Romania.
But, to be fair, on a per capita basis, the Trump family is almost certainly embroiled in more shady activity than the Bidens. All that said, it’s a bit rich for Hunter to be talking big about this now when the crack-smoking chaos of his personal life was a major distraction and source of ammunition for Republicans during his dad’s term in office.
