Official Playstation iPhone And Android App Now Live

Sony have been muttering about this into their beards since early December and it appears that they are finally ready to let this new PS3 friendly app out into the wild, albeit in its infant stages. So far the only features it boasts are synchronization with you PSN ID (so trophies, friend status etc) and a live feed for the playstation.blog news reel.

The app is available now on Android devices and the iPhone and iPod touch. I haven’t had a chance to try it out myself yet, but Sony assure us that the app is going to receive significant updates offering more cool stuff in the coming months. Wait…..months?

How many of you will be using this bad boy then? Or maybe you’ll just save yourself till it gets those promised killer functions.
