After frightening news of the franchise coming to an end, it is now confirmed by EW that the franchise will continue. When news arose of financial problems with MGM, we began to speculate that this would be the end of the longest franchise in the history of film.

Today though, it was confirmed that the 23rd installment of the franchise is back on track with Daniel Craig reprising his role as James Bond and Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes on board to direct. The film is set to release on November 9, 2012.

I for one am very excited to hear the film is back on track. I was devastated when I heard the film was put on hold. Daniel Craig has given amazing performances as Bond and with Sam Mendes on board, it is sure to be one hell of an action packed film.

What do you think? Are you excited the film is back on track?
