The latest documents related to Jeffrey Epstein reveal an email that suggests the convicted sex offender may have had a secret son. The email was part of a huge batch of files the Department of Justice published on Friday, January 30. The release included around three million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos.
According to Unilad, the most unusual item is an email dated September 21, 2011, apparently sent by Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The email seems to congratulate Epstein on becoming a father. Ferguson wrote, “Don’t know if you’re still on this bbm but have heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy.”
She added that even though Epstein hadn’t kept in touch, she still offered “love, friendship, and congratualtions [sic] on your baby boy. Sarah xx.” In a second email that seems to be part of the same thread, Ferguson accused Epstein of using her connections. She wrote that Epstein had “disappeared” and that she hadn’t even known he was expecting a baby.
The release reveals troubling connections across powerful circles
Ferguson then delivered a sharp message: “It was sooooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeeply [sic]. More than you will know.” Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche noted that the release ensures transparency to the American people after a long review process.
The files mention a huge number of high-profile individuals. President Trump is named hundreds of times, while Bill Clinton was also mentioned. Other powerful figures like Elon Musk and Bill Gates also appear in the documents. Trump’s ex-wife had warned about Epstein for years, according to former Mar-a-Lago staff.
Just because someone is named or pictured in these files does not mean they did anything wrong or had any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. The new batch also included images of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his titles last year. One photo shows him crouching over an unidentified woman who is lying on the floor.
Virginia Giuffre’s posthumously published memoir details her claim that Epstein trafficked her when she was 17 and made her have sex with Andrew. Andrew has always denied the allegations. Brett Ratner, the director of the new documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, was pictured alongside Epstein in the newly released documents. Another recent bombshell revealed Elon Musk begging for party invitations from Epstein.
The DOJ also released footage showing the inside of Epstein’s jail cell, where he died in 2019. The video shows a bare metal bunk bed, a metal urinal, a place to wash hands, and what appears to be a plastic desk and matching stool attached to the wall. Epstein was charged with sex trafficking of minors in July 2019 and was found dead two months later.
